I love it. Really easy to control and sturdy enough for a beginner (I'd still suggest flying over soft ground like grass, that helps a lot in dampening crash landings.) Only negative thing is the "camera", it's WiFi only (no local recording to SD card or similar), has terrible range and makes the plane front heavy. But I didn't really plan on using that anyways so I don't really care. Definitely get two batteries though if you don't already have compatible spares, it gets around 15min of air-time with one charge, and with a quality charger you should be able to recharge with 4C if you only do it once in a while (I usually charge with 1C and the battery doesn't even get warm).
PERFECTOOO! It looks of quality, I expected it more bad, but it has taught ME. A perfect gift for Christmas. Recommended.
